The Company has taken steps to ensure that its website is compliant with all relevant legal obligations. The COLP has ultimate responsibility for ensuring continuing compliance, on a day to day basis. Bridie Mulgrew, the Marketing Executive for Wake Smith Solicitors Limited has delegated responsibility for the management of the website including:-

All content for the Wake Smith website is drafted by an appointed PR Consultancy and the marketing team and is therefore unique and original.

The procedure following drafting of all content including news stories and blogs is for that material to be put through a two stage approval by the original author and contributing parties and secondly by the marketing executive or a member of the marketing team. Key members of the marketing team have access to the website CMS at all times and any articles or content deemed surplus or unsuitable can be removed within 24 hours.

Scope of permitted and prohibited content is agreed in advance by the marketing team working with the board of directors to ensure that content is legally correct and in no way prohibited.

The marketing team and the website developers are the only parties who have access to the website. Passwords are changed on a bimonthly basis and must contain at least 8 characters including alphanumeric, upper and lower case characters and symbols.
