Tom attended Birkdale School before studying at the University of Birmingham and the University of Law.

Tom is a corporate lawyer with a wide background advising on M&A transactions and corporate governance matters.
Tom has specialist expertise in venture capital transactions, advising founders, start-ups, investors and corporates on the full life-cycle from incorporations, spin-outs through and investments though to strategic mergers, acquisitions and exits.
Tom has a particular interest in the technology sector and has an undergraduate degree in Artificial Intelligence in addition to an undergraduate degree in Law.
In addition to his legal career, Tom spent nearly two years as a Senior Investment Manager at the British Business Bank, making and managing venture capital investments for the British Government’s National Security Strategic Investment Fund. Much earlier in his career Tom also spent six months on secondment to HSBC Equipment Finance, managing asset finance deals.
