Our Charity Board was established in May 2010 with the aim of raising money for the firm's selected charities and also to support staff with any of their own charitable endeavours. Every financial year we ask our staff which charities are close to their hearts and then following a firm wide vote, choose the most popular.
This year's Charity is Help for Heroes. We have raised £1799.49 so far this year.
However we also support other charity events like Children in Need. This year we raised £101.45 for Children in Need by holding a dress down day.
The work of the Charity Board, not only benefits the chosen charities, but creates a buzz in the office through the events that are organised, such as quiz nights, raffles, dress down days, cake sales and baking competitions, which in light of the Great British Bake Off, have proven to be very popular!
