Work History: I joined Benson Clegg in 2001 as a trainee and Wake Smith in 2006 when the firms merged
What was your first job? Working in a school for disabled children in Kuching in East Malaysia
What did you think you would be when you grew up? I always wanted to work with David Attenborough or be an expert on some obscure subject who would appear on Horizon with a big beard.
Where is the best place to go for office gossip? Usually I only hear about gossip after everyone else
What is the best thing about your job? I’ve worked for the majority of my clients for many years and have got to know many of them really well.
What is the worst thing about your job? I’d better not say – it’ll only get me in trouble
What and where is your favourite restaurant? Umami in Stellenbosch South Africa
What book are you reading? The Silk Roads by Peter Frankopan
If you were stranded on a desert island, which two luxury items would you take? My ipod and a solar charger to charge it up
If a film was being made of your life, who would you want to play you and why? Michael Sheen- he seems to be able to change his appearance to look like anyone
Who would you least like to be stuck in a lift with? Piers Moron (I think he’s compulsory), Katie Hopkins and Amanda Holden
Which 3 celebrities would you invite to your perfect dinner party (alive or dead)? Jerome K Jerome, Robert Byron and David Attenborough
What do you enjoy in your spare time? Walking, travelling and birdwatching
Who is your hero and why? My hero growing up was my grandfather who used to amaze my sister and I with stories of all the places around the world that he had been.
