Sheffield solicitors Wake Smith has announced the sad and untimely death of its Director of HR, Kelly Pashley-Handford.
She joined the firm in January 2019 as HR Manager and was instrumental in advising on and providing HR and Employment services to the firm including furthering its workplace culture and driving forward employee engagement.
Kelly, who qualified as a HR professional in 2015 and attained chartered membership status Chartered MCIPD in 2016, had worked within professional legal services in the region for more than 24 years on all aspects of HR with experience of providing in-house HR and external HR support services to other local businesses.
John Baddeley, chairman at Wake Smith said: “It is with deep sadness that we advise you of the passing of Kelly Pashley-Handford. She had been a valued member of the management team since 2019 and always went about her role with great compassion, humour, energy and professionalism. In this way, she made a huge positive impact on our firm, its people and its culture. Not only are we mourning the loss of a colleague, but also a great friend.
