Wake Smith Solicitors’ Private Client team has been shortlisted in the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2023.
The annual Yorkshire Legal Awards is the pinnacle of professional excellence, showcasing the best and brightest lawyers, practices and firms the region has to offer and has been honouring excellence within the sector for more than 20 years.
Wake Smith’s private client team includes, director Colleen Dooney, associates Stephanie Chung, Sherelle O’Brien, Annie Wright and Shaun Talbot, solicitor Jennifer Robinson and Legal Assistants Zoe Watson, and Gemma Burdiss. With expertise in estate planning, lack of capacity Court of Protection issues, appointment of trustees and division of assets. Its matters are often high-value and cross-jurisdictional.
The department has seen a substantial increase in clients and boosted its growing team to nine.
It also achieved its highest ever ranking in the UK’s leading legal directory, The Legal 500 2023, recognising its exceptional legal skills and client care.
The winners will be announced on Thursday October 5 at a ceremony at the New Dock Hall in Leeds, hosted by Helen Skelton.
