A new networking group, designed to bring together professionals from across Sheffield's broad range of industries at different venues, has been launched by Wake Smith Solicitors.
Wake Smith Link will offer a safe space for the city's professionals to meet and share their learning journeys at fun and engaging events throughout the year, while also broadening their business networks.
The group has been set up by Harriet Gardner, a solicitor in Wake Smith’s Employment & HR team, who recognised the need for a dedicated space for professionals to meet informally, but to make business connections.
She said: “Wake Smith Link is about celebrating all of our careers. Members of Link might not be in the same industry, but we all have common goals and want to expand our business connections and meet new people.
“I want Link to attract vibrant minds looking to create a network of like-minded people in Sheffield and beyond.
“We will be hosting fun, interactive events that bring professionals in different industries together in ways that the office can’t, and, in the process, highlight some of the fantastic venues we have here in Sheffield.
“It’s important we all share our knowledge, experiences and journeys, so we can help each other along the way in building life-long connections.”
Wake Smith Link’s first event will be at The Great Escape, AI Darts & Haunted Hound Experience on 24 October from 5-7pm.
