The costs
Our legal fees and disbursements to act on your behalf will be set out in the Fee Quotation, which can also be found in the Conveyancing Portal.
The fixed fee assumes the property is built of a standard construction and the transaction proceeds without any major complication.
Please note specific factors might increase fees, such as defective legal title, an unregistered property, no building regulations or planning permission.
If during the transaction there is a new development or the matter becomes more complicated than envisaged at the outset, we will discuss the change in fees with you and agree a way forward.
We work on a fixed fee basis, so you know the fees for your transaction from the outset. However, we are obliged to disclose that hourly rates for Directors in the team are £260 plus VAT (charged at 20%).
